Hi, I'm J. Curtis. I run a small press called Tiny Worlds Publishing.

After years of watching online platforms strip authors of their earnings and their relationship with readers — I built gimmebook, so every author can earn a living from writing. This is a bootstrapped business, made for us.

Why this exists

I’ve lived this problem.

I was sending readers to Amazon for every sale while they took 30–65%, never told me who bought, and treated me like a number. These big platforms were not built to take care of writers.

I also run Tiny Worlds Publishing where I have been known to spend hundreds on Shopify and other tools so I understand this from both sides. There wasn't a tool built for us. So I built one.
