About this book

A military general with a background in theatre; a detective who has never been seen sitting; some kids; a cult on mars; an Amish drug mule; a drowsy investor and his son(?); an accident prone hospital; a truancy officer with many tactical pockets; tunnels. How does it all fit together? This is the first novel I ever wrote, originally titled State of Unrest. I worked 3rd shift in a substance abuse rehab, typing this up in many dark rooms while keeping an eye on patients with SI. The book is a collection of scenes, ideas I found funny, and concepts inspired by books I was reading at the time. I wanted desperately to appear smart and be able to say I’d written a book. It’s not good, but it might be fun. I decided to post it, because otherwise it will never see the light of day and I did spend a long time tapping it out. It was fun to write and the ideas are decent but it’s not something I care to push or market or make known. I wrote it in a different order, all the chapters mixed together, so some characters may appear or disappear or die and then reappear elsewhere. Anyways, if you’ve found it, I hope enjoy entering into A State of Unrest.
