The training is relentless, and she struggles to prove her worth when she is plagued by a recurring nightmare. Every time she sleeps, she is haunted by an enemy she doesn’t know how to fight. Her guardians cannot help her, she must find the way forward alone.
Salome has a rare gift, one that the Church hopes will help them in the enduring battle against the forces of Evil.

Salome is a Victorian era Gothic/Religious horror inspired by classic Gothic Literature such as Bram Stoker’s Dracula, John Polidori’s The Vampire and religious horror novels such as The Exorcist. It is an occult mystery novel about faith, the enduring battle between good and evil, found family, and making the right decision, even if it is the most painful one.

Hanna Delaney is a horror author from Liverpool, UK. She is known for her distinctive Muldoon Gothic Mystery series set in Victorian Liverpool. She is a fan of supernatural horror, historical horror, urban fantasy and science fiction. Her next novel Salome, is a religious horror novel set in the same time period as Daniel Muldoon, her beloved fictional occult detective. Delaney's storytelling often weaves historical elements with supernatural suspense, drawing inspiration from classic authors like Shirley Jackson, Wilkie Collins, and Ursula K. Le Guin. After completing a BA and MA in English Literature, Hanna taught English before deciding to become a full time horror and science fiction author. She is inspired by her home city of Liverpool and its significance as a port in the 19th century.
